upgrade/fix Bugs in Visual Basic app

we have mostly converted a very old set of small applications that interface with a mysql server (via odbc) and basically comprise a small business suite of applications (time management, costing, filing, book database,...) the original developer used 3rd party OCX files for things like displaying of data tables, which have to go. in short: we want the apps to be adapted to NOT use any 3rd party components, just pure ms visual basic. also, the applications rely on ADO mostly (some parts are already changed to use DAO). we want everything to work with DAO, getting rid of all ADO. the applications are being used right now, so there are a few bugs that have to be fixed FIRST and FAST, only then we can take our time migrating the rest of the codebase. speaking of codebase, the whole project is rather small, featuring just 1800 lines of code in all .BAS files, and 35000 lines in the .FRM files Please do not try to sell us VB.Net capabilities - .NET is NOT NEEDED at all! The software just needs to compile OK on win32 - no major rewriting necessary! ODBC is also a blessing in this regard - you do NOT need to re-invent the wheel. payment will be made via paypal if you're outside of the european union, otherwise we can do wire transfer, too.
