I'm not really a designer, more into proper SEO using WordPress as a CMS.
I know some HTML(5), and I can find my way around CSS(3). I'm familiar with responsive design elements.
So how does what I know fit with what you do?
Proper design should take on-site and on-page SEO into account. More than just adding a widget to a WP theme, the layout alone can influence how a site is crawled and rated. Modern sites need to throw away old ideas of keywords and backlinks, and start thinking of semantics and structured micro-data. A proper balance of content and images needs to be able to be expressed to the engines so they know what is on the site. External entities need to be created, and properly utilised, to develop authority and trust. Internal linking needs to be considered as part of what holds a site together, not as an after-thought. I can help you to give your clients sites that rank well, and are Panda resistant right from the start.
Additionally, I can do proof-reading, editing, copywriting, and mark-up (micro-data and format) of content.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my services.
