General Information WordPress Site Creation

I'm in need of a tech-savvy freelancer to help build my WordPress website. The site's primary purpose is for the sharing of general information about our organisation. There is no need for any sales functions, it's purely informative and gives people the option to register their interest in joining us. There will be a page where we want to post some blog articles about things that we do but the rest is purely videos/images and text. Key Features: - Incorporation of text-based articles - The display of image galleries - Video integration These form the main content for the site. It is crucial to have an appealing layout that beautifully presents these elements and makes navigation easy for the users. Scope: The website will have between 1-5 pages, thus manageable yet quite detailed. The main home page will be the focal point for the website with a number of elements, the top bar will have options that when clicked will take you down to the element of the home page that references it, they will not open separate pages. There will only be one option which is "Blog" that we need to open a new page for and that will be where we need the functionality to input some blog posts. We will be providing videos and images we want to use, and the main colour theme will be sky blue and white with some elements of black text and navy blue. The home page will incorporate a main video which should be a number of videos blended into one on rotation with text overlay, the remaining elements will be text and image based with a few YouTube video links. A more detailed brief will of course be provided to the successful freelancer. We have purchased the domain and will provide access to the freelancer to be able to build the website in Wordpress using our login, there is already an attempt which has been made which is not any kind of template, we would like the freelancer to start fresh. The freelancer will first have to sign an NDA and IP agreement. Ideal Skills & Experience: - Proficiency in WordPress website creation - Ability to incorporate multimedia content - A keen eye for design and layouts - Strong understanding of UI/UX principles The perfect freelancer for this job will approach it with creativity and will be able to advise on the best ways to engage visitors with the content.
