New Logo Contest - Internet Startup / Fantasy Sports

This is a logo design competition. We are starting a new web site focused on Fantasy Sports in the United States. At this time we are in need of a logo that can be utilized on the web site and possibly apparel (hats, shirts, etc). There is no web site in place yet but we plan to start development very soon and it will be called Fantasy Dog. Thus we are looking for logo that will incorporate a strong dog figure that can then be used in other areas of the site. In our minds we are picturing a Bull dog, Great Dane, or Ridgeback, a strong dog image but the logo should not be scary, there should be some personality to it as well. The potential tagline for the site will be the 'The Dog Knows Best.......' . At this time the the dog should not be sport specific as well. Lastly, the winner will be needed for additional work down the road as well as we continue to develop the concept and the company. We anticipate once the dog logo is completed, we will want different renditions of the logo possibly with a baseball bat & hat, one with a football, a basketball one. But that will be the next step once the logo is selected.
