**This project is an extension of the Microsoft Access sample provided by CodeJock software for its CalendarPro ActiveX control which is used to build a Microsoft Outlook style calendar.**
**The Codejock sample has several shortcomings: it does not allow a user to delete an event. It also has not implemented recurring appointment events that occur every month or every year.**
**I will furnish a MS Access database with all necessary forms and tables. This project is simply to extend the code provided by Codejock as follows:**
**1. On frmCalendar, write code to add a calendar event **** The Codejock code allows an event to be created by ****double clicking on a time slot on the calendar, but I** **would also like a button to provide this capability. I have this partially working.**
**2. On frmCalendar, write code to delete a calendar event.**
**3. On frmCalendarRecurringEvent, write code to implement ****monthly recurring events**
**4. On frmCalendarRecurringEvent, write code to implement ****yearly recurring events**
**5. Adopt the code for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly a****ppointments to create recurring tasks to be done daily,** **weekly, monthly, or yearly.**
**6. Add a datasheet of tasks to frmCalendar by reducing the width of the calendar so that the tasks list appears at the far right of the form. Allow tasks to be drag from the task list and dropped onto the calendar as appointments, again in the style of Microsoft Outlook. **** **
**The datasheet and tables for tasks need to be created.**
## Deliverables
**The download includes a folder of samples including one written in MS Access 2000 that you may review. Please note that once you have installed the ActiveX control you need to maintain the Access calendar form and replace the calendar control with the one you have downloaded.**
**I have cleaned up this sample's Access 2000 appearance. **
**Here's a brief demo of my application**

**As an attachment I have included the download file from CodeJock for the Access sample if you wish to look at their code and also screen prints from and older version of Outlook to show the fields that are required for tblTasks.
**
**This project requires use of Microsoft Access 2010 and Codejock XtremeCalendarPro ActiveX control, which is available for a free 30 day trial at <[login to view URL]> as XtremeSuite Professional Edition for ActiveX/COM.
