MA Dissertation Topic (written): “Evolving Narrative Structure in Television News” and including practical work of comedy Feature Films called “The Hit” and “On The Edge” on 16mm camera (Films were shown in Watershed Cinema in Bristol, England).
Designed and launched a popular Urdu show called Baat Say Baat , which is based on social issues of Pakistan. Baat Say Baat was a weekly program on Express Urdu.
Produced exclusive documentaries and special live transmissions including NDTV’s co-production on Pak-India Peace Dialogue for Express 24/7 (English News Channel).
In 2010, I was responsible for launching three international current affair programs simultaneously. One of them, “The Platform”, was distinctive due to its collaboration between Express 24/7 (Express News English) and VOA (Voice of America). “The Platform” broadcast live debate between Islamabad (Pakistan) and Washington DC (USA) every Monday to Tuesday night at 11:00 pm. This was the first time that a live debate took place across the US and Pakistan on Pakistan media. The show discussed various issues including peace-making, trade, war against terrorism, economics, security agencies cultures and international treaties.
