I have a program, where I can download data from Interactive Brokers trough the Gateway-Tool (API). The program is working fine, but I want to integrate some features. The download of the data is working asynchrony and the API-Gateway stops to work, if there are too many request outstanding. Now I want a control of the outstanding requests. Also if there is an error I want a log of it and the program must retry it a few times. There is only one problem, you can only use the IB-Gateway only on my computer. That means you can only test via TeamViewer. Normally it is working fine, because I have a very good internet connection.

Hello, It seems your project could fit me (it shouldn't take too much time + I have good experience with various kind of optimization, with logging etc, no problem with testing on your computer via TeamViewer) I'd like to know and discuss more details and look on what you have before we start, to be sure there isn't problem with application design or something which will be very difficult to fix/improve) In success with this project, you are welcome for other tasks/modification for this or other application related with trading and not only. By the way, I deal with online trading myself and develop various my software for that (not for IB, but for Quik trading terminal) Regards Igor P.S. the sooner reply the better, to allow me schedule needed working time if we agreed

i can connect via Excel to IB gateway. get market data and execute trades. I can use a paper account to test for you, so we don't need team viewer. what features would you like?
