Hi, I have over 7+ years of experience in Linux/Unix administration especially Server setup, Security audit, hardening and Server optimization . And for the last 3 years, I have been working exclusively on Magento server management on Linux O.S platform. I have hands on experience in Optimizing LAMP stack for best Magento performance. Hello, I can get it done in a day or so, I have many years of experience with virtualmin. If it takes a bit longer, it's not a problem, at least you'll have a good working failover configuration. Hi, There are two ways to deal with this. 1) make secondary setup and fail over via dns or cdn 2) create software load balancer and manage fail over using it. I can help you with both. please feel free to ping me to discuss

I have used Virtualmin in commercial applications and have used a distributed file system , global server load balancing (via HAProxy and weighted DNS) for both active-active and active-passive (so-called master-slave) configurations. Once configured, it would require very little if any maintenance. I used to own an ISP+CLEC that hosted about 1800 websites and understand the unique challenges of scale vs. economy with no service interruption.

Automatic Host Failovers in Virtualmin For failovers to work, your host systems must share the storage location for virtual system disk images or filesystems. This can be done via NFS, Cluster LVM, iSCSI, or other network filesystem technologies. Automatic failover feature provides protection against host system failures, by moving virtual systems off a down host to a new host with shared storage. The running state (memory contents and network connections) of virtual systems will be lost in this case, but they will be re-started on the new host with minimal interruption.
