I need to set up my local ruby environment successfully and resolve conflicts so I can deploy to my server. Ruby on Rails is the development framework of the application. Until some weeks ago the application was working fine. Not sure if some command was run that made the problems arise, or if there has been a faulty gem installation. The application works in development mode but it does not start correctly in production mode, which needs to be fixed. I would like to build a relationship with the prospective developer as there is more development work to do, when this task is complete.
