Epidemiology and Stats Capstone

We must work with BRFSS 2021 data and must develop a research question, write a manuscript, and do lit. review, analysis, and interpret. The analysis will be done in SAS depending on the research questions and aims. This is what we have received: [login to view URL] - You'll first need to identify aims and write research questions. You will want to take a look at existing literature on the topic. Is there a noticeable gap your research could fill? - Choose variables and determine levels of measurements. - Write the intro section - Write about lit. review. - Develop methods/ analysis you will use. - Clean the data and do analysis, create tables and figures as needed, and interpret results. Research question has been submitted for approval. CDC - 2021 BRFSS Survey Data and Documentation BRFSS has a long history in behavioral and chronic disease. Currently thinking about the research question: 'The relationship between physical inactivity and obesity prevalence among adults in the United States using the 2021 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance.' depending on what the research question is, we will need to come up with the methodology we plan to use for our data analysis (can look into prev lit. to get an idea.) We will need to extract the accurate data from BRFSS 2021 dataset as shared above, clean the data, organize/ format as per the research question, do analysis, interpret results, look into what previous lit. has to say if we can fill any gaps, provide updates, etc. It's a manuscript/ capstone project.
