Context:
We are running two regular Python courses where we need assistance. We are looking for a long-term agreement. The last time we filled this job position for over 2 years.
1) Data Analytics with Python Course: Content
(introduction to python, data wrangling with pandas, descriptive statistics with python, data visualization with seaborn, t-test/anova /chi-square tests with python, correlation, regression with statsmodel)
2) Machine Learning with Python Course: Content
classification(dcision trees, knn, naive bayes, logReg, classifier evaluation)
regression (linear regression with normal equation, stochastic gradient descent, polynomial regression, ridge regression, lasso regression, elastic net, early stopping, regression trees)
advanced supervised learning concepts (feature extraction, imbalanced data ,cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning with grid and random search, overfitting/underfitting),
ensemble learning (bagging, pasting, random forest, adaBoost, gradient boost, xgBoost)
clustering (kMeans)
Main tasks:
- Create assignments for participants in the course. We have an existing structure for the assignments and two example. Therefore, the main task is to search for new data sets for the assignments and adjust it to the new data. Maybe slight changes on the assignment structure is needed.
- Correction of the assignments by participants: the participants of the course will hand in their assignments in form of a Jupyter Notebook. The task is to check the assignments, and note what errors have been done (e.g. forgot scaling for ML algorithm, did not check for preconditions for statistical tests....)
- Create some new content: we are planing to extend the course, e.g. little more about NLP and Gen Ai. For this, new slides need to be created.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills in English!
- Good understanding of the listed topics in Python. Important, we are **not** looking for the most advanced skilled machine learning developer, as the courses are not so technical. So also students can apply who studied those topics and want to advance on this
Nice to have:
-Basic knowledge of blockchain (we also run a blockchain course)
-Basic knowledge of web scrapping with selenium and use of OpenAI API for GPT

(While conducting labs i have created small datasets as well for students so they don't get directly solutions for already available datasets and get maximum benefits from labs).
