Tournament listing site / Profile Site

Tournament Project Outline Goal: To generate a site that will for the most part maintain itself, relating to style listings, School Listings, and a searchable tournament list. With the ability for a school to sign up for an “announcement list” of any new tournaments that have been posted. (Require admin approval before message is sent), users should be able to select instant, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly alert list. Also should select a “region” they are from as well as the state, and user can select up to 3 regions they can receive listings from. (I will provide a list of states to region codes (ie: california,1 /r/n arizona,2 /r/n wyoming,2 , etc...), will be as a mysql table for you. The school should also be able to do 2 other things, 1 post their tournament on the site’s calendar, as well as a 1page site providing some basic information relating to their school as well as a class schedule and a link to their own site (or any 1 link they would like to add) the school should be able to add / edit their content via fckeditor (and should NOT allow any images to be used). Admin should be able to send out a newsletter at any time, approve all new tournaments posted. Admin should be able to disable any school’s page if inappropriate material is found. Admin should be able to add to a style list as well as provide a description of any style. (Martial Arts Styles), also should be able to There should be various methods of searching tournaments as follows: by state, by region, by style, by month, by week, by quarter (3 months). Users should be able to purchase “banners spots” via pay pal payment, and should have to pay to join the service (after a 10day trial period). Trial period will allow the user to set up a page, but not allow the user to upload the registration form, or post a tournament. Admin Should be able to select amount to charge via admin panel billable sections are as follows: 1) Per click banner ads 3 sizes / styles and 3 prices. 2) Base Price (includes base page, and tournament listing) 3) Cost for downloadable Tournament form. when the school uploads a tournament form (word or pdf), the script will automatically convert the word file to a PDF for download. individual users will need to sign up under a school, or as a general member of the site. if the user signs up as a general member then only admin can send messages to the user via newsletter system, if they sign up under a school, then the admin or the school admin can send messages. schools will be limited to 5 newsletters per month (basically 1 per week with 1 special one), if the school wants to send more than the 5 per month, they will need to pay to send additional newsletters, this rate also can be set thru the administrator side. the event / tournament lister does NOT have to be formatted as a "calendar". templates for the site will be as follows: general template for the overall site sub-templates for the schools to choose from for their own school if you would be interested in profit sharing for the script sales, let me know in your bid, and let me know it would reflect this in the price difference. here's what it boils down to: -Newsletter system with users to be mailed via group listing. -Banner Advertisement system -(2) profile systems (individual user and school) -User Management System -Template System (smarty or any that you are comfortable with keep size small) -fckEditor / TinyMCE editor (school page editing and for general Site Editing) -Admin approval SIMPLE event listings overall, usermanagement system is something that nearly everyone has, I have many as well self-wrote, and others (I expect nearly no charge for this portion as they are readily available), newsletter system again this is very simple (other than a few sql queries and a for loop nothing to major so please no outragous bids on this either), event listing is to be very simple, so no full calendaring system, can simply display them in standard text (edit via css), and most of the other parts as well are not that difficult, I do prefer fckEditor as I am more familiar with editing this for my needs. keep bids low as it is basically the matter of merging the different modules together. no I don't want anything like Mambo / Joomla / major CMS systems. I do not want it tied directly to Martial Arts only, as this system will also be used for a couple other types of sites. the key is I need it done within the next 6 days, (needs to be online by the 19th of July), and I need a few days to run thru and bug-check things. also to let you know I only have about 60 in my account right now, if you can do this project for that I will be more than appreciative. thanks
