I have two platforms "Social engine (se)" and "JOOMLA". SE is the primary platform, and joomla is the secondary.
SE and JOOMLA have their own database. The problem is, they both have a "user system", meaning members have to create two accounts.
So what i would like to do is this:
whenever an SE acount is logged it, the JOOMLA database is checked to see if the same username/password/email is already created.
If YES, make it so that user is also logged into JOOMLA (by creating a session entry in the database for that user? *shrugs*).
If NO, create a new row in JOOMLA's user table with the same username/password/email as it is in SE, then also have them logged into JOOMLA.
When a member logs out of SE, then JOOMLA will also be logged out.

That's pretty much it!
I also attached a zip of php files that does something VERY SIMILAR to this. However, it's a forum (PHPBB) instead of JOOMLA.
also, any sympathy gladly appreciated! I don't have a HUGE budget being a student xD
