I'm looking for a skilled web developer to create an eCommerce website for a retail store with two physical locations. My business (pet supplies & food) currently operates with a Lightspeed Series-R POS system, and it's crucial that the new website integrates seamlessly with this current system. It needs to pull/update inventory on a per-store basis. allow customers to order product(s) based on available inventory in stores, and allow customers to do in store pickup orders based on live store inventory. Key Features: - Online Ordering: Customers should be able to browse products and place orders through the website. - Multi-store Live Inventory Display: The website needs to display real-time inventory data from both of my store locations. - Integration with existing POS System: The website must be fully integrated with the Lightspeed Series-R POS system. - Product categories, sorting, searching and shipping integration are required with Canadapost, Purolator and Fedex systems - Product images need to be loaded for product images, 8380 unique skus in the system Platform: The website should be built on WooCommerce due to my familiarity with the platform. Also open to other suggestions for a platform. User Interaction: Customers should be able to reserve products in the inventory through the website. It's important to create a user-friendly interface that facilitates this process. Ideal candidate: The ideal candidate for this project would have experience in web development, particularly with WooCommerce. They would also need a solid understanding of integrating point-of-sale systems with websites to ensure seamless synchronization of inventory data.
