kijijiji classified aggregator -- 2

hi there i hope you can teach me this assignment it shouldn't be that hard. My roomate wrote the python code in version 2.7 combined with Robotask (windows automation program or other), sql database and rss feed reader and automatic email sender which I think is included in robotask. It was working really well for me essentiall what it was doing was receiving Kijijij classified search rss feeds, aggegating the items i was looking to purchase (with exclusionary terms to weed out the non items), putting them in to a sql database (on second thought probably in the revers order of those 2 appostrophes) and then sending me the email alerts every time a new item from the catagory i was interested in was posted. I have most of the python code and sql files and the description of how it all works that eric the programmer provided me . Eric has moved on (this was 5 years ago) and i have no way of getting a hold of him now and I have no programming experience my self to get these subroutines running on my machine. At the time 5 years ago it was all running on his machine. So hoping you could 1) respond back to me so i can send you an email with the program files attached with description, 2) look at it and see if you can get it working 3) teach me the basics of python and sql and help me get it all running on my machine.
