Fix admin email issue in Opencart 1.5.6.1

System e-mails are not being sent from our Opencart webshop. So for example when a customer places an order, then he doesn't get a confirmation e-mail. Also we (as admin) don't get any e-mail notification. I think it has something to do with our checkout-cart handling. We installed many modules, but maybe this messed up the e-mail in our checkout files. We tried many thing to resolve the issue, but nothing works. Please ONLY REPLY to this project if you have many experience with e-mail handling and settings in Opencart! Also we need a solution by today, so only developers that are available directly.
