Adjustment made to Wordpress template

I need a minor adjustment made to my wordpress theme. The website is: [login to view URL] Currently, when a viewer clicks on the featured image for a blog post, it brings it up in a picture viewer. What needs to happen, is when a viewer clicks on an image, it needs to take them directly to the featured story by default. This functionality is already built into part of the template an can be seen here: [login to view URL] That's the portfolio section of the site, when the viewer clicks on the featured photo in the portfolio, it does by default what I want the blog posts featured photo to do, take the viewer directly to the story. I need this function changed and set to default for all the blog posts, old and new. I can provide an admin account to the wordpress as well as a temporary FTP login to the server if needed.
