PHP Problem

I have a problem with some php code. I need a list of all the predefined functions that the following code would work with 100% of the time and a list of the functions that it fails with. Very simple job, just very time consuming. function newFunction() { $parameters = array(); for( $i = 0; $i < func_num_args(); $i++ ) $parameters[] = func_get_arg($i); return call_user_func_array('PREDEFINEDFUNCTIONGOESHERE', &$parameters); } PREDEFINEDFUNCTIONGOESHERE(Normal input goes here); /* The above line must work identical to the below line*/ newFunction(Normal input goes here); And example of a predefined function that the above does NOT work for is the sort() function. An example of a predefined function that works identically is chr. function newFunction() { $parameters = array(); for( $i = 0; $i < func_num_args(); $i++ ) $parameters[] = func_get_arg($i); return call_user_func_array('chr', &$parameters); } echo chr(100); /* The above line must work identical to the below line*/ echo newFunction(100); notice that they do the exact same job in the above code. I hope this has been clear to what I want. I'm mainly after the generated white list of functions but the functions that dont work would also be handy.
