Convert an older Virtuemart plugin to work with VM3 and Joomla 3.3 or create a new one with similar functions

On my old website I used VM Email Order Followup from Interamind extensively. This plugin is no longer being updated and is not compatible with Joomla 3.3 or Virtuemart 3. I am in the process of re-building my website from the ground up with these components and would love if someone woudl either take the Interamind plugin and make it VM3/J3.3 compatible or create a new one with similar functionality for me.
