Client wants to create an online directory site where businesses can create an account, create an ad for themselves (free, or paid for listing) with options for the upgraded paid listings such as higher ranking, their own login to edit the advert, ability to upload graphics. Site must be run by a .csv so easy to add/edit/remove listings / categories in bulk Anyone can also sign up to read the newsletter, and cancel newsletter and separately cancel adverts. Newsletter is free, paying customers need to be able to pay online a monthly fee to be on the site. Options must include both PayPal and another c card system, such as sagepay, secpay, worldpay. SagePay preferred but that's not a deal breaker. Site must be search engine friendly in the URLs so the site search has a fair chance of finding the advertisers, who will be listed in categories and sub categories. I am well aware there are a range of programmes that allow all of the above, and so I want someone who is experienced in creating such sites. This project has come about because the client used a bespoke programme before, and then fell out with the web designer and so the entire project is now scrapped.
