1468 Fix Ticker Script- Cron Jobs

I posted a project for a ticker central clone that was never fully finished, but it was finally functional. I can no longer get a response from the original programmer. We moved servers and the script is now broken. I need someone to fix it, quickly! The ticker program creates a dynamic image that updates each day and counts down the date to a user-specified event. Right now, it generates 2 images- one for the ticker graphic and another for the text that says how many days are left. A cron job updates the tickers. The original programmer did have these converted to a single image, but converted it back when testing something and never fixed it. Currently, the dynamic graphic image is created, but the text image is not generating. I need: Fix the program so that it works. Convert the two images to a single image. If you can work on this right away, I would be grateful. We have a lot of dead tickers out there at the moment and it's generating a lot of bad feelings. Thanks for looking at the project!
