I want a website that promotes listening to members' podcasts much like Freeviral(dot)com promotes visiting members' websites. A podcast is sort of like an internet radio show, but it's an mp3 or other audio file in an RSS enclosure. Each new episode can then be downloaded automatically to the subscriber's computer with iTunes or other podcatcher program. Rather than a code popping up after they view a site, 2 separate code numbers would be added verbally to each podcast (by the member/podcaster). A visitor can register to become a member by listening to 7 podcasts, and entering the 2 codes for each podcast on a form. S/he would also type in several links and text fields (see below). The main page will have promo & explanatory text (like freeviral) followed by a table. In that main table will be 7 subtables. Each subtable will have text and links as entered on the membership form (data called from member database). - - - - - Components: Main template page that calls the appropriate 7 sets of data from member database based on an affiliate code. 5 from the prospect's immediate referral upline plus 2 Sponsor/Gold member spots. Registration form page Admin panel (incl affiliate tracking functions plus optional ways to fill the so-far blank tables of podcasts to be listened to. And rss feed validation if possible.) Affiliate script (ie QuickPay Pro, TWSC lite or similar). I could buy one of these if you don't have one already. Member/affiliate pages Method of processing applications (admin panel? formmail to my pc?), issuing affiliate numbers and the 2 codes to be inserted verbally into the customized podcast file. Gold member option to purchase additional insertions elsewhere in the referral network. Paid via PayPal, 2CO. Affiliate records and payment on these purchases. - - - - - Each subtable will include the following data for a member: -Podcast title -URL for graphic (on member's server) -Text description -URL from which to dl podcast (from member's server) -Player to play it while still at my site. Flash mp3 player? Pro version at PupuPlayer(dot)com or some way of applying the player from PodPress (Wordpress plugin at MightySeekDcom) are 2 possibilities. If you have a practical similar alternative, great. -URL's for the member's page at iTunes, Podcast Alley and Podcast Pickle. -Possibly website and/or email link(s). In addition to above info, registration form must have graphic manual entry authentication.
