Layout Logic is a Windows (XP, 2000, 2003) architectural requirements collection application (client only) that captures user inputs, develops several views (defined below) such that changes made in one view are apparent in all other views when accessed. The required views are a Functional Space Description, Functional Matrix, Bubble Diagram, Space Diagram, and Schematic Plan as described in the attached diagrams (See additional Files), manipulate the above views per the attached diagrams and output resulting views to a monitor. (There is no requirement for Plotter output). Layout Logic begins with a Functional Matrix view (least well defined) and progresses through a Bubble Diagram, Space Diagram, and Schematic Plan (most well defined) through a sequence of commands and views. The end result is a clear set of objective architectural requirements expressed as a schematic plan.
Note: the use of the term “file?? is not meant to be restrictive to any particular type of file. In particular, “file?? may be a database file for an open-source, “free for commercial use?? database, such as Hypersonic.
