ASP 2 PHP Site Conversion

We need to convert a relatively straight forward e-commerce site from ASP to PHP. The site currently uses MySQL as it's back end database. It's not strictly e-commerce as there is no way to purchase anything as all the products sold on this site are customised to specific customer needs. It is a possibilty however that we may need to provide on line shopping facilities for certain 'stock' items. The existing method of product selection is fairly rudimentary and therefore we would like to be able to make the whole thing more sophisticated. Although this is not a photo retailer site a good example of what we want is the B&H website which can be found at <[login to view URL]>. All the product images and company logo's etc are in existence so there will only be a low lever requirement for 'graphic design' however it is important that the developers can demonstrate excellent design skills. The existing site has a CMS that allows the users to upload photo's, decriptions and pricing. Again this is fairly primitive therefore this need to be re developed. Prospective bidders will be provided with the link to the existing site under an NDA. This site is currently running on an IIS 5 Server with the latest versions of MySQL & PHP installed. It may however get moved to Linux/Apache. We intend to implement a bug tracking system so prospective developers must use this system to co ordinate all bug and development requests/reports along with traditional change request procedures. Developers must also be able to demonstrate the usage of development methodologies. First class written and verbal English skills are fundamental. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). ## Platform PHP, MySQL - Linux Apache or Windows IIS.
