In the Digital subscription TV industry, there are hundreads of vendors and thousands of different pieces of equipments to make the whole system work. I would like to create a portal as a one stop shop to get information on what equipment options they have. This is a multiphase project, in the first phase I will deal with the STB component of the overall solution. STB have many different features and specifications, and I would like to capture these so users can search by these. The developer will be responsible for the design. The page needs to have a left and right coloumn for advertising. An advertising engine to rotate the adverts will be required. A simple search page for user to select what type of STB they need. Registration pages for the vendors (STB, operators, CAS, Middleware) (reset passwords) Each vendor will have admin accounts, but then can create staff accounts that are under them. Development to be done in MySQL, php, HTML 5. (no java)f
