Real Estate Portal

What I need done: We require a website that will allow people from all over the world to locate property online. We will target North America (specifically Canada) first, then venture into other areas of North America and Europe. Users should be able to locate property and realtors should be able to post properties without the intervention of our administrative staff. We will also like to add value add tools that will make users come to our website instead of some of the larger competitors such as [login to view URL] or MLS.ca. What provider will build: We require a site from scratch with some e-commerce capabilities included. We should be able to charge a monthly fee to realtors who are posting properties. There will only be 3 different price ranges therefore the catalog of what we are selling will be very small. The provider will need to understand how Google maps or Microsoft maps integrates with websites. The site will need to be extremely interactive yet simple to use. Search options can be as advanced or simple as needed by the user. There should be some intelligence that prevents an agent from posting a listing that has already been posted by someone else. Other context/requirements that providers will need to know: Style should be fun mixed with conservative. There should be the ability to view the pictures that have been posted in a very fast, efficient manner. This website must be searchable by Google, Yahoo, etc. The site should be rich in content and graphics yet not be too heavy and not take too long to load. Specific expertise that I am seeking: This project should be relatively challenging in that I doubt there are too many request for this type of project. This is basically a real estate agent website with plenty more features and much more content. The builder should have a solid understanding of databases, web design, flash, search engine optimization, map tools (Google/Microsoft maps) and have a good eye for web design. Preference will be given to those who have built real estate websites in the past. Time frame for delivery: Ideal time frame for completion of this project will be 2 months.
