Hi All, I am trying to build a SQL view in Microsoft SQL Server that converts a date field into an Age Bracket (eg 16-20, 21-25 ect). Basically the table name is Personnel and it contains an EmployeeId field and a Date of Birth field (+ many other but these are the two that we are working with). The Age Bracket would only need to be produced in the View itself and not stored anywhere in the database. The age groups are -15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 70- So the query would be for creating the value age bracket from the employees date of birth. For an example if an employee is born on 19/01/1982 they would be 25 and therefore fit into the 21-25 age bracket. Is it possible to create sql code that would return the age bracket that a group of employees are in based on their birth date? Regards,
