Salesforce.com API integration

I'm working on an application that will be integrated with [login to view URL] using their API (see [login to view URL]). This application will be in ASP.NET using Visual Studio 2003 (or 2005) and VBscript as the programming language. The application will be a 'web application', so all output must be in HTML. As I have not worked with the [login to view URL] API, I need a 'getting started' application that provides the basic mechanisms for connecting to a [login to view URL] account, retrieving various records & fields from [login to view URL] tables, and updating the [login to view URL] data as well. Most of the examples provided are in Java or C# and not VB, but that is what I need. The VB examples are for 'console' applications, not 'web' applications. I need a working sample in VB for a 'web' application. Based on the success of this initial project, there may be additional projects to assist with the same application. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2003 server running IIS with ASP.NET 1.1
