This project entails gathering price data for indices, futures contracts, and securities. Quotes for the various instruments are provided by Interactive Brokers. The collected data should be saved to ASCII files [login to view URL] next thing is the data needs to store somehow so that when people need history data they can acess and pull it down say via a web page. The coder must learn by himself/herself how to download the data from Interactive Brokers&' trading platform--I cannot be of help on this matter. This is the hardest part of the project; the actual program(s) should be simple.
