Hi! How different flashes look like you can check from present schematics of flashlights and cameras. Canon, Nikon and so on. The design is simple enough. You have a lamp which can produse some amount of light energy in Joules. This lamp working range is from some Vhigh to some Vlow, and usually works about 1-5 ms. So you should calculate the main capacitor value from this data. Also, flash tube should be started by high voltage spike. So you need make one. In modern flashlight the battery power is used. So you should generate Vhigh (about 350 VDC) from 3-6 VDC. This usually does with flyback boost circuits, as more effective than transformerless boost. High voltage spike is made by additional transformer with high ratio. Any questions further. Best regards.

Hi,I believe I we've all been there where there is a serious bridge between theory and practicals as I also faced such when venturing into the field of transferring circuits on paper to an actual feasible project. I will teach your from the ground up to actualising your final project,I believe the type of cooling system to be used is highly dependent on the application as there are numerous types of cooling systems used in electronics an example is forced air cooling using high speed suction fan,this involves measuring the temperature and activating when a threshold is reached ,there are others but cannot be discussed here.
