I can get this running for you. There's an online IDE for gae which may be of interest. You probably don't have to use a django-nonrel branch but for mysql style support you may have to. - These things can either go smoothly or a headache. The quote is for a smooth implementation.

I have worked with both Django and Google app engine. Porting documentation is pretty straight forward about the process. You will have to enable billing on your account as Django requires Google Cloud SQL, which is honestly not that expensive. Best, Boris
