I have one Android application which will server as SMS forwarder. Currently working fine but need some modifications in it. First I want to optimize its performance. Currently its taking almost 10-15 seconds after receiving the SMS to upload on server. I want to reduce that time. Second one I want to modify its activation process. Third one I want to implement the socket in the application so that if user is connected in same network in which my desktop application is connected than it will directly send the SMS over socket as soon as it receives. For that I want one text box in application in which the user will add IP address of the system in which the desktop application is running. If user will not provide the IP than application must work on current flow that is upload the sms on server and desktop application will read it from server
