Mobile news application for Android

I would like to create a mobile news application for Android smartphones (and in case also for IoS). This application should be a simple prototype that can be improved in future. This app should be able to download daily from the web the latest news regarding some specific topics which are Technology, IT, Science, Business Trend, Regulation and it should give the possibility to the user to add other topics besides the ones already mentioned. Issue date: by 25th November Goals: 1. Easy to use 2. Update people: the app should update the users on a daily basis with the latest news about all the topics mentioned Service requirements: - Number of users: about 15 people - Types of news: We need an app that contains two types of news: 1. Written news coming from newspapers’ websites, online scientific articles….etc. 2. Podcasts already available online - Structure: The news and the podcasts should be divided into categories and ordered by the most recent release date (similar to Google News). Then, there must be filters on topics (non-exclusive filters similar to Booking) to search in detail the specific news and podcasts - News language: Italian and English - Design: 1. Color: Blu PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue 2. Font: Helvetica (similar to the one used by Apple) - Extras: 1. Offline use (mandatory): there should be the possibility to read the news that have not been downloaded while the user has no connection (Similar to Spotify downloads) 2. Notification messages (mandatory): notification messages regarding the topics that the user doesn’t read must be sent, in order to remind him/her to read all the topics in order to be updated about all of them 3. Share (suggested): possibility to share the link of the news through email/whatsapp/slack etc Performance requirements: A) respect the deadline (November 25th) B) meet the requirements (the ones written above) C) respect the budget (40€)
