I'm happy to help provide support for your QNAP NAS. I've been using QNAP's for the last 8 years. I use a QNAP for my home network (TS453-A and TS-509-Pro) along with many of the various services that a QNAP can be used for, which includes being used as external storage for my home lab VMware environment. Additionally, I've setup and currently manage a pair of QNAP NAS's (TS-1253U-RP) for the large lab environment for the primary company I work for, which is used primarily as VMware storage and uses other embedded QNAP services. Plus if you have a small business you are setting this up for, then you may need the QNAP integrated into the rest of your environment in some way. Lastly, I'm in the USA and can be reached pretty easily considering I'm "local".
