Linux Backup Project - SysAdmin & bash scripting skills needed

Setup a BackupPC based backup server, Centos Linux 6.2, with encrypted data on a VPS instance and provide openvpn based vpn access to it from Linux, Windows & Mac Client. Also, automatically dump individual clients tar archives generated by BackupPC periodically (defined by a conf file) to Amazon S3, using S3tools or similar toolset. Need openvpn/openCA client configuration instructions and one client of each configured through remote access. ## Deliverables Setup a BackupPC based backup server, Centos Linux 6.2, with encrypted data on a VPS instance and provide openvpn based vpn access to it from Linux, Windows & Mac Client. Need openvpn client configuration instructions and one client of each configured through remote access. - To test the install & all associated configurations at your own site. - Then Create a Centos 6.2 x_64 minimal instance (at [login to view URL] - I have selected Metered Server/VPS VS001.0G-0001.0TM which provides 1 TB hdd space for 28$/month). Have not purchased the vps yet....will wait to do it when you tell me that all programming/admin/testing has been done and you are ready to install. - Install & configure BackupPC on it. - Install openvpn based vpn server on it. If required, install a CA key server on the same or different vps for clients too. Clients to connect the vpn whenever they come online allowing backuppc to initiate backups. - Install & configure scripts to automate extraction of tar files from backuppc, install tools for uploading to S3. - Install three clients for linux, windows & Mac, one each. Provide Software & Instructions for configuring additional clients. - Secure the system with bastille or similar script and ensure system for security of all sensitive information like S3 passwords, ssh keys etc. - Software & strategy of how the whole thing will work to be discussed before project award. Software to be used is not absolute...can be modified if you have better options, but the essentials...own server, rsync uploads, file level de-duplication, storage on encrypted filesystem, backup to S3 etc. should be met.
