We are planning to create an ‘online (on-demand) financial planning platform’. It is intend to significantly ease of the problems faced by the ‘Office of Finance’ (OOF). Most of these problems are related • Plans/model in multiple scattered files • Developed from multiple discrete systems • Thus takes longer time to complete • Concerns for ‘data reliability’ and ‘data integrity’ • Once developed it is difficult to maintain and refer at later stages • Difficulty in comparing with historical plan data (and draw more meaningful decisions) Other problem faced by small and midsized industry is that of budget that restrict to buy Anaplan, Adaptive Insights like solutions. Further, these solutions also deliver features that are not critical or useful to their current needs (but still have to pay the price) thus providing lesser value for money’. CFOs of small and mid-sized are mostly looking to solve their immediate areas of struggle that is the ‘Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning’ and the ‘Reporting’. Smaller customers are also concerned about ‘Ease of Implementation’, ‘Ease of Use’ and Ease of Upgrade & Maintenance’. There is also an important need for ‘bench marking inputs & outputs’. Addressing Business Users pain areas Further, business users that have no/less knowledge about formulas or financial model, can also conveniently create the required plan and do it in 'very few steps'.
