Need a program to develop standalone image analysis software using opencv or imageJ. This would involve framegrabbing from microscope camera, thresholding images and tracking speed, size, distance traveled as well as several other parameters. Looking to possibly develop in linux/ ubuntu environment. I currently have a prototype program running as a imageJ plugin but would like to change to imageCV for greater flexibility.

I am Masters in Information and Communication Engineering from TUD, Germany. During my thesis I worked on Egomotion detection(Image Processing). I have skill working under linux using Qt and opencv. At present I am supervising two projects on Image Processing(face recognition). One using VC++ for real time face recognition using PCA alogorithm and other using Matlab for offline.
