Multi-track Movie (video) Player App for (initially) IPad

General Description: A movie player capable of playing a new kind of multi-track content. Essentially the player must be able to play (i.e., move through) up to at least 3 movie files simultaneously and synchronized, displaying only the one track then selected by the viewer, and allow smooth switching the display to any of the other tracks when selected by the viewer. For further information on concept, see [login to view URL] Requirements 1 Means to Transfer content/movie files (a) from a Mac and/or PC to iPad; and (b) (downloading) to iPad/iPhone from entered web address. 2. App must be able to play (at a minimum) the following file types/formats: H.264 video up to 1080p, 60 frames per second, High Profile level 4.2 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format. 3. Must meet Apple specs such that app could qualify to be on iTunes store. App must have means to download and install the app on the device whether from iTunes or another website (where I might post it). 4. Assume files will be labeled ***[login to view URL], ***[login to view URL], etc (where *** is the Content/Movie Title, the number indicates which stream it is, and the xxx is the extension/file type; you can require a hyphen (–) between the Title and track number if you like, just let me know). Ability to select Title/movie to download/play when more than one are stored/available in the selected location. 5. App must stream/play/move through all files/tracks simultaneously—that means starting and moving through all tracks at the same time, in a synchronized way but actually displaying only one at any given time (except see #7 below). Programmer may want to reference Avid and Final Cut X products (I am told they can do this). 6. The user should be able to swipe in either direction to change the displayed track/stream. Swiping from right to left will change the stream shown incrementally (from 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1, etc.), while swiping from left to right will change the stream shown decrementally (from 3 to 2, 2 to 1, 1 to 3, etc.). 7. During the swipe, the screen should show the parts of both streams playing simultaneously as one replaces the other, to simulate the effect that there are X adjacent movie screens that are horizontally scrolling past, with only a thin black line/space separating them. In any event, there can be no “black out” delay or pause during stream changes—the movie must continue smoothly with the change as seamless as possible. 8. A tap on the screen brings up a control that shows a progress bar and has a pause, play, stop control. (as is common for video players). Labels or hints should be in English. 9. Bid with and without the following Option: By using buffer (or some other method), include ability to back up to a limited extent (e.g., 10-30 seconds). 10. Also quote additional cost to port app to Android tablet and phone. If it’s nominal, may include now, otherwise porting to Android devices may be a future project. Price must include code and full copyright transfer. Incorporation of another’s code or module(s) is permitted only if such is done with full royalty-free rights and license to distribute worldwide, and incorporation is fully disclosed. No patent rights or license is granted except as may be necessary to perform, complete and test the project task. Any other license must be separately negotiated.
