Touch screen inventory program

I over see a resale salvage store. We do not have any method to take an inventory on the items we have. All items are one of a kind and are priced individually. I need a way to input each item, price that item with consistency to other like items, post the item to our web site, print a barcode and then remove item from inventory using POS system.

Using a table or IPAD

The first screen would have 100 categories that the user could program with a one or two word description

The user would touch one of the categories and then the screen would flip to a new screen displaying more choices or categories that could also be programed with one to five words to describe. The other options would be an image or icon representing the word.

The user would then touch the next category and the screen would flip to the next options.

Below is a scenario of how an item would be put into the system

I have 25 sales categories. These might include simple one word descriptions. electrical, plumbing furniture, appliances, windows, doors, outdoor, etc.

All of the category words could be input by the user.

I would touch one of the descriptive words such as appliances.

The screen would flip to another screen of categories. All of which are one to five works or could be an icon/picture

The categories might be stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, dryer, washer, freezer, etc.

I would then select one of these categories and the screen would flip to the next window.

Say I touched the word refrigerator. The next screen would show three icons of refrigerators, a side by side, top mounted freezer, and a bottom mounted freezer.

I would then select the next choice. Say the side by side refrigerator. The screen would flip again to reveal more choices.

The next screen would have choices of finish. Black, white stainless, etc. It would also review a price guide. It would show a history of what the user priced the last side by side refrigerator. It would show the highest price, lowest price, median, mean, and average. This would allow the user to know what prices were used in the past. The median, mean and average would constantly be recalculated based on each time an refrigerator was priced.

From this point I could hit a button that said price or continue with the choices of color, brand, age, condition, etc.

If I chose to price the item, a bar code printer would print out an individual bar code to identify the item, show a date and a price. The item would then automatically be placed in the systems inventory.

At the time of sale the item would be scanned using a POS system software and taken out of inventory.

Dealing with individual donated items. Every item is different. Dealing with hundreds of items on a daily bases only a brief description is needed. such as side by side refrigerator, electric free standing stove, leather couch, cloth couch, dinning room table, etc. A simple fast touch screen with programable terms to describe items or icon to represent items on a touch screen portable tablet to input items is what I am looking for.
