I'm building a cutting system for precisely cutting timber frames in our picture framing system. It consists of a Servo driven pusher that feeds timber into a pneumatically operated mitre saw. The servo motor is driven by a servo drive. I have also purchased a pc based motion control card that has a number of inputs / outputs / servo control functions. I need someone to help me design the electronics, based on the components that I've bought.
I have no engineering background so your explanations will need to be broken down so that I can understand. I have comprehensive documentation for the components I've purchased. The control system is based on components from leadshine.
1. Electrical noise that might affect the quality of signals
2. Selection of cable type for the project
3. Very clearly explained connection diagrams that someone with no engineering background can understand (for example, connect the yellow core of cable one to the hole marked 47 on the green terminal board).
You must have a thorough understanding of industrial electronics. I will provide you with the functions I require (for example, "I will install a photoelectric sensor to check when the timber is in position". You will then need to explain what additional components and wiring I require to make this functional. There will be approximately 20 sensors, one servo motor, one servo driver, 1 pc based control card, a couple of emergency stops, contactor and anything else you feel is required etc. I expect it will take you a day or two to design the system and another day or two to explain it to me.
The components I've purchased are
1. Servo Motor - ES-MH342200
2. Servo Driver - ES-DH2306d
3. Motion Control board - DMC2410
4. Proximity Sensors - OMRON 2m Proximity Switch E2E-X8MD1 12-24VDC
I've attached the documents I have for these items. We will initially have a discussion about all the functions that I require. You will then design the system .
