Hi, Kelvin here. I am experienced in using R and Excel for data analysis purposes. To build a model that predicts the #of retweets based on several features (variables), we can do the following: 1. Construct correlation matrix to check if there are two features which are dependent on each other. If there are, we shall eliminate some variables based on the context of the problem. 2. Understand each numeric data and conduct non-linear regression according to each variable. 3. Conduct forward and backward stepwise modelling to get the best model. I have two options. One is to make a console script where you enter the link of the tweet and the program shows an estimate of the number of retweets. If the time is reached the other option is to develop a simple graphical interface to enter and display information. I would like to know what operating system the client would run.
