My name is Nate, and I need someone to help me with handling my customer calls. I have an existing personal business and receive approximately 10-50 calls per day from customers complaining about their billing or related issues. I'm looking for someone highly organized and attentive to detail who can answer the phone, field customer feedback, and instantly relay it to me. By having such an effective system, I can be sure to effectively address all customer concerns in a timely fashion. Ideally, the freelancer should possess interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to think logically and reason effectively in a fast-paced environment. The freelancer must also be reliable, ethical, and trustworthy. With this project, I hope to gain an efficient system for handling customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction. I would like to pay per call.

This sounds like an interesting way of doing things. Can I ask how much you would be expecting to budget for each received call please? I am a British national living here in Philippines and believe I could do this role. I have worked primarily in web application development. Over the years I have built management systems for other companies, working closely with the staff to see how they normally operate in order to develop tools that make their lives easier. I have worked as a community manager for a social/games website since 2006. Actually, this is my own online business. Many processes are automated but the customer service is 100% me. It's enjoyable and I have learned quite a lot about people! The site is fairly small so although it has been profitable since day one, it's really a niche topic and I am looking to supplement my income with reliable, part-time work away from the development scene. My I.T. skills are really extensive. I am confident I could learn my way around your business very quickly. In terms of work ethic, please look at my reviews here. Most of them speak about my personality and dedication. I also have experience with customer service on a daily basis through my own business and prior to working as a web developer I have also worked as a tutor for I.T. and in customer-facing roles in a toy shop and second-hand goods shop. That was a long time ago, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Hi Nate, I'm new to this platform and would like more information in regards to meeting your needs. My questions include what type of business is involved, and in which time zone are the majority of the calls received? You mentioned billing related issues. Would your candidate have access to the billing data, or would it be more in line with "putting out fires" by listening and documenting the customers concerns, and promising a resolution by you? I have years of customer service experience, though not in the traditional sense. I was tasked with "putting out fires" with mad or distressed patients when their idea of care was not properly delivered by medical personnel during and after hospitalization or emergency department care. Immediate relief for escallating tempers was achieved by using listening skills and relaying empathy for the perceived problem. I am a retired social worker looking for an opportunity to continue using my excellent social and interpersonal skills as well as supplement my income.
