96798 Parse website and create XML

We need an application that goes thru an online website and collects price, pictures and information about all products they have in stock. Modify this list and create an XML output for use with auction bulklister application. The background is that we want to see what the wholesaler has in stock, download the pictures, product code, product information, stock level and price and then add xx USD plus xx% to the price and then create a XML file to upload to an auctionsite. Below is the procedure: 1. Go thru wholesaler website and gather product id, product information, product picture, price and stock level 2. Save to database (access or similar) 3. In the database: mark which products to output to XML 4. Take price and add xx usd and xx% for each product (configurable). example if wholesaler price is $5, we want to first add $2 and then 10% on top. We also need to convert the price to a different currency as auctionsite does not use US$. 5. create XML output according to specification (sample attached) with modified price and downloaded information and picture (pictures should have been downloaded to local folder for use with bulklister application). 6. In the database, mark products as "listed" or similar so we know which ones has been processed/listed. 7. Next day we run the application again and connect to wholesaler's website. We need to check if product is still in stock or not and also what new products has come in. 7a. In database, show products that has been processed in step 3 and now not in wholesalers stock as "no stock" or "stop auction" or similar, or show new stock level at wholesaler if still in stock (we need to be warned if not in stock anymore) 7b. In database, show new products with separate colour or with label "new stock", so we know which ones are new. XML file tags id - has to be unique (see example) title - should contain the product title taken from website privateref - product code goes here category - is the category on the auctionsite. I can provide the different categories if you are able to implement this when creating the XML list? duration - days to list the auction, set to 3 restart - how many times to restart auction, set to 0 startprice - the wholesalers price plus $xx plus xx% reserveprice - should be set to 0 buyitnowprice - should set to triple the startprice above description - where the product description goes collected from wholesaler images - path to product image to be uploaded to auctionsite Remaining tags leave as in sample file When creating the XML list the important things are to put the product id collected from the wholesaler website between tag "privateref" and the modified price goes between tags "startprice". The product description goes between "description". The path to the downloaded picture goes between "images" (see exact example) Also for the product description tag there will be some standard text for each auction that needs to be input after the info collected from wholesaler website. I can provide the application (bulklister) that the XML file will be used with to upload to the auctionsite if you need. I hope this is clear but it might not be...
