De Kabeza’s platform is licensed by clients like Coca-Cola, Sorteos Tec, El Chavo del 8 and PayPal to run live interactive trivia games for broad audiences. The immediate challenge and priority is to ensure our platform can handle a large amount of traffic. Our application is a web-based React app which uses Agora video and SocketIO to present a live quiz experience for users, with a host running the broadcast, and stepping through the game. The backend is built on AWS EC2 Elastic Beanstalk, using Postgres DB and Redis. We’re looking for an engineer to help maintain, test and scale our server setup: Optimise to minimise usage and cost Investigate alternative hosting providers and relative cost/benefit. Prepare and test implementation for up to tens of thousands of simultaneous users. Devise a deployment system to work with our upcoming client admin tool.
