Dear Sir/Madam, I am Iulian Seba, an exploration geologist with a large experience in various projects across Europe, Africa and US. I am an experienced user of MapInfo, Global Mapper, ArcInfo, QGIS and of various other software packages for special purposes (Geosoft , Surfer, Rockware, AutocadMap, etc). During time I made also primary surveys in complex onshore/offshore projects, related to some marine design projects, mining related. Please see portfolio from profile. Related to your project you must be aware that obtaining contours from your data set (elevation points), is more like a GIS operation; then will follow an export file in an universal CAD format like dxf. Normally, your data must be presented in a package that has been sweeping for small surveys anomalies (spikes) and other problems. This happen an ideal world.... One time I received for processing a data package (ensured that is OK) when the sonar operator forget at the end of the day the sonar mounted on Zodiac like boat, ON. So, I received a lot of points "surveyed" during the shore moving of the boat, on a trailer, until a garage. So the flow will be like this: -validation of the data package (searching for spikes, plotting in a GIS& see if they are "scattered/aberrant positions) -interpolation of the data -exporting to a dxf format Hooping that my skills are useful for your project I remain at your disposal for any other details.
