I am looking for a freelancer who can create an automated relay control system using Arduino. The system should be able to automate a predefined process. Purpose: - The desired purpose for the automated relay control system is to operate a set of 10 valves in a system we are developing. We wish to test, validate and refine the system and the process before we implement a full industrial control system so this should be a cheap and configurable implementation. Requirements and Features: - The system should have the ability to control and automate 10 valves connected to relays. - It should be able to turn combinations of valves on and off according to pre-defined process. - The system should be customizable and allow for easy configuration of the valve combinations and the process itself. - The system is completely offline. All interaction with the system shall be done using a physical interface (uSD card for instance). Ideally the process setup shall be done in a separate file like a text file or csv so changes to the process are easy without the need to compile, flash etc. - There are different phases for the process. For each phase the main pump shall be turned off for a defined time (e.g. 30s) and the the valves switched to a predefined combination. After the defined time, the main pump is turned on and runs for a predefined time. - There will be a few programs. Each program is a sequence of phases. The use shall have the ability to run a program or to select and run a specific phase. - TBD - The system should also allow for manual operation (e.g. buttons). Skills and Experience: - The ideal freelancer should have experience in Arduino programming and automation projects. We are open to other suggestions (non Arduino). - Experience in relay control systems is desirable. - The freelancer should have intermediate level programming skills and be able to handle the complexity involved in developing the Arduino system. Products: 1. Code 2. PCB layout for ordering on a service like JLBPCB (unless the cirquit is simple enough) 3. wiring diagram 4. BOM (modules, relays etc. from a descent manufacturer) If you have the required skills and experience, and are interested in this project, please submit your proposal.

Hello, no problem to do, I made much more complex projects. My hardware design will be without any custom made PCB, will save much time. Just ready made boards/modules: - main controller, probably Mega 2560; - 2 relay boards (I hope 10 A is enough for your valves? Otherwise 10 separate powerful relays); - SD card module, if we don't find another solution; - buttons for manual control. Everything is easily available. And, what is the relay state "2" in the file attached? Are valves solenoids, not actuators? About me: I'm an electronic engineer with about 25 years of experience, also about 7 years of experience in 3D modeling using SolidWorks. Experience with Arduino and ESP32 controllers. Good technical background. Both software and hardware development. Experience in 3D printing, manufacturing drawings. Prototyping is possible, both electronics and mechanics. I can help you build automated relay for valves control. we can use SD card to drive relay on/off sequence with any format you want. can be a simple txt file with valve number sequence and timing. I use JLC a lot. i can make the design to be compliance with their system for PCB manufacturing and/or assembly. so let me know if you are interested

Hi, just a clarification about why it takes so long: it's because I do actually build all the prototypes and test them: no virtual hardware simulators, moreover I may use components that needs to be ordered and shipped. Also, you'll not need to pay me until the project is finished, unless I've to buy special components or, like in this case, have a PCB built, that I will not use for other projects for which I will ask to anticipate expenses. This said, can you clarify why in the excel file (b2-k10) valves seems to assume 3 possible status, 0,1,2. What this means ? If needed I can build a prototype and send it to you, so you can use it as blueprint. Please beware that delivery costs and components will be billed separately. Last but not least DO not assign me the PJ until we agree exactly about what has to be delivered. Cheers, Alex. Toxic fumes can be generated and must be handled with the due diligence.
