Hello,
I have bought a cheap UBUNTU server at $3.5 to install OPENVPN on it and it worked well.
I tested and the server speed is very fast for both UP and DOWN over 50 Mbps but on my ANDROID device where I installed the application of OPENVPN the DOWNLOAD speed is very slow.
0.2 Mbps DOWNLOAD versus 3 Mbps UPLOAD speed. I searched online and it looks like there is a need to tweak the OPENVPX settings AND the .OPVN file that is downloaded to the ANDROID device.
I think the following lines should be added (but I am not sure if this will fix the issue).
sndbuf 0
rcvbuf 0
push "sndbuf 393216"
push "rcvbuf 393216"
I did not find how to edit the .OPVN file that is downloaded from the UBUNTU server directly.
I need you to make this work so I can use my VPS server on my ANDROID device at normal speed (minimum 3Mbps download). My home/office connection is 10 Mbps so it's not nornal thast the download is stuck at 0.2 Mbps.
I will send you the following info when you accept the project.
1) Server root login
2) OpenVPN admin and user logins with URLS to login
I think you need an ANDROID device to test that it's working but if you can do without, you can bid.
Thanks!
