I am a native Afrikaans speaker. I have completed several translation projects on Freelancer.com. All translations was done from English to Afrikaans. I have a good rating and reviews as can be seen on my portfolio. My current project, which is an ongoing project, is to translate the Freelancer website into Afrikaans. I have been working on this project for 8 months. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I am available to work several hours per day if required.

I'm a native Afrikaans speaker currently based in Guatemala (which explains the Guatemalan flag next to my profile). Not only do I have a clear 'radio' voice but I've also learnt to neutralise my regional accent a bit. (I grew up in Pretoria but lived in Cape Town for 12 years and nobody there understood me if I spoke in the overly rounded Pretoria accent, so I had to 'flatten' it without sounding like I come from Namaqualand. If you want the regional accent though, I can still speak 'Pretoria eastern suburbs' very well!)

I have a decent set of headphone/mic combination and will record the words in WAV format. Please advise: Do you require A Male or Female voice? (all my family and friends are Afrikaans speaking and will not be an issue to get a clear voice if my voice is not clear enough). Approximately how many words need to be recorded?
