ompany: [login to view URL] JOB DESCRIPTION: [login to view URL] is an online retailer of high-end specialty food products within the United States. We are looking for a telephone based customer support specialist for [login to view URL] in a work-from-home position from now through the end of 2015. Overall, your responsibility is to make sure customers are happy and orders are being fulfilled and processed properly. Specifically, your primary job responsibilities will involve: • Answering the phone and taking phone orders from customers • Contacting customers if an item is out of stock to determine a resolution • Answering questions customers may have regarding our products and usage • Addressing problems with orders and customer complaints • Following up with customers after orders to determine their satisfaction with the order • Using our fulfillment management system to manage the flow of orders through the fulfillment process. • Additional support tasks as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS / REQUIRED SKILLS: • You must have a happy, pleasant demeanor and talking voice, and stay calm under pressure. • This is a work from home position, so you must have a noise free place to work at that does not cause you to be disturbed during the day. • High speed internet must be available where you will work, with a minimum of 1 Meg upload speed and 6 Meg download speed. • You must be fluent with speaking, reading and writing English, as you will be doing this constantly. • You need to be very comfortable surfing the web and using websites and ordering online. • You need to have a basic understanding of and have Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • You need to be available to work, Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm eastern United States time, 1 hour for lunch. Also between the second Saturday in November and the end of the year, you will also need to work from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on select Saturday’s and Sundays. • Knowledge of the specialty food market, a culinary background, home chef HOW TO APPLY: Please send us your resume and salary requirements. I am an American who lives in Medellin, Colombia. Firsthand, this job interests me greatly since I LOVE my kitchen and I know a great deal about food (good and bad). In fact I just got my set of Wusthof knives delivered this week and am very excited. To be honest I feel that I would be perfect for this job. As far as a resume, my only copy is in Spanish. My background is in accounting ( I graduated from the University of New Mexico) as well as VoIP services and call center services. If you require a copy of my resume, I will be happy to translate it. I have experience in customer support. I know how to make the customer feel valued and with the desire to return for future purchases. I can answer product related questions, and I am quick on my feet/keyboard to look something up if I don't have the answer readily available. Regarding your required skills: I am happy, and I stay calm under pressure. Internet is no problem as I work from a fiber optic 40/20 Mbps connection. My home office is quiet so noise is not an issue. I am quite fluent in MS Office, and the required schedule is not an issue for me (I live in CST and EST). Finally, the specialty foods requirement is why you should hire me. I love food and I love to cook. I am proficient in many genres of food and am always looking to learn more tasty recipes. I run a Company called Cybermate. It is a South African (Africa), Johannesburg based company. We are a telecommunication and ISP services provider. The company has an out-sourced contact center division. The contact center is out sourced to different industries, across different continents. It is a VoIP based contact center, all call are routed via VoIP, it is cheaper and has no geographic constraints. We currently run the same service for two companies, One is Namibia and the other is in Dubai. We take into account the time differences. In this case, your geographic are is 6 hours behind South Africa. We can achieve this task if the number that will receive the calls is on the VoIP technology. We run a 10meg up & down stream fiber. OPTION 1: - You provide us with all the details regarding your telephone line, To set up a soft phone or dedicated phone on our site - Details for setup of email on Outlook, include your customized email signature - Details for the Portal for placing and checking orders. - Dedicated contact for further inquiries that cant be archived online OPTION 2: - Provide a dedicated Computer, We will run this remotely, We will need your help installing all the apps we will need to transmit data between that computer and us. - You will set up the Outlook on the provided computer, together with the ERP or CRM software for the order placing and stock checking (provide log in details) - Make sure the computer is always on and has internet access
