Set up a new computerized accounting system with the following, but not only, functionalities: Robust reporting and analysis capabilities Multi currency accounting Flexible transaction and account analysis making a simple ledger set-up Macro facility to automate repetitive tasks Simple month-end and year-end processing Open periods to match posting and reporting requirements of the organization Support for multiple budgets Multi-currency asset register Flexible depreciation - up to 10 methods available per asset Powerful reporting for increased control of fixed assets Allows easy customization of statements, forms, reports, screens, help systems and other program facets Accommodates, or can be easily upgraded to accommodate, a progressively larger number of users and a growing amount of financial data and transactions. Vendor should state their programs' limits in these areas Graphics tool that can be used to present trends and other concepts Full automation of routine and other complex financial activities Ability to receive fast, user-transparent, automatic updates Ability to send and receive digital documents and handle electronic fund transfers The accounting program should either offer add-on modules that allow customers to slap extra capabilities to its product, or a migration path to a full ERP environment The system should be modular and should have among others the following modules: -Fixed Assets Register -Foreign Exchange -Stock management -Ledger accounting -Budget control -Nominal, sales and purchase ledgers, -cash book -analytical/project ledger -Payroll -Inventory
